Nothing. Well, not exactly nothing. The only known fact about the Cambridge-based producer Luminaire is that—well—he’s based in Cambridge. But nonetheless, it doesn’t stop him from releasing bangin’ tunes. Following the trend of French house-turned-sample based deep house/garage producers, Luminaire still finds a way to infect the much sought after sound with straight up funk.
Originally starting off as a French house producer with debut self-released Cut/Paster in 2011, Luminaire continued on to develop his sound in the following year with a major turnaround on his Separate Ways EP released on Never Say Never. Progress furthered when Luminaire's Like We Used To Be EP released earlier this year on Never Say Never and just recently peaked having two tracks (Be The One/Stuck Start) be featured on Aliasizm's Alias EP.
